REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN THE NULLA OSTA
PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS FOR BRITISH CITIZENS
-Photocopy of valid UK passport
-Certificate of No impediment for both spouses
-Original birth certificate (Entry of Birth) with names of parents
-Divorce decree (if applicable) : Divorce decree in original + previous marriage certificate in original. If widowed original death certificate
-Payment of consular fee about € 77,00 per person. Payment is done through us

PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS FOR US CITIZENS
-Sworn declaration at the US consular section in Italy
This documment has to be legalised
-Atto Notorio can be done at the Italian Embassy in US or in Italy at the Civil Court
In Italy 2 witnesses are required (no relatives) and an interpreter
Divorce decree if applicable

PAPERWORK FOR AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS
-Sworn declaration at the Australian Embassy in Italy
This document has to be legalise
Original Divorce decree if applicable
Death certificate in original if applicable
Atto Notorio can be done in Australia at the Italian Embassy or in Italy at the Civil Court
2 witnesses are required (no relatives) and an interpreter

PAPERWORK FOR IRISH CITIZENS
Irish citizens must apply for a “Certificate of Nulla Osta” at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Dublin.
Document required:
-MP2A FORM
-Birth Certificate long version in which appears the name of both parents
-Copy of passports
Fee to pay at the Department of Foreign Affairs is approximately € 30,00. Once all documents are
completed the D.of F.A. Conttacts the Irish Embassy for the issue of your Nulla Osta.
We will  the pickup your nulla osta.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SWEDISH CITIZENS

Cirkulär Nr2 av den 28 Januari 2010.
Nytt förfarande för utförande av säkerhetsprövning av svenska medborgare bosatta i Sverige för bröllop i Italien.
 
Enligt det nya förfarandet, som tidigare avtalats med detta HQ,kommmer klartecken utfärdas direkt av komunen
där sökanden är bosatt.Detta görs på svenska och skall översättas och överenstämmelsen intygas av officiell översättare.
 
Dokumentationen skall även förses med Apostilla,enl.Haagkonventionen från den 5 Oktober 1961,vilket ersätter det tidigare av svensk
ambassad utfärdade godkännande.
 
Godkännande i fall av äktenskapsförord för svenska medborgare bosatt i Italien kommer fortvarande utfärdas av svensk diplomatisk beskickning.

PAPERWORK FOR RUSSIAN CITIZENS
To obtain the Nulla Osta you shall submit to the Consulate General the following documentation:

  1. If the applicant has NOT been married before:

-Valid Russian domestic and foreign passport (in original);
-Birth certificate (original or notorized copy, full form-including names of parents);
-Consular form;
- ID card copy of the fiancée

2) If the applicant has been married before but the name did not change: 
-Valid Russian domestic and foreign passport (in original);
-Birth certificate (original or notorized copy, full form-including names of parents);
-Divorce certificate (original or notorized copy);
-Consular form;
-ID card copy of the fiancée
3) If the applicant has been married before and changed the name:
-Valid Russian domestic and foreign passport (in original);
-Birth certificate (original or notorized copy, full form-including names of parents);
-Divorce certificate (original or notorized copy);
-Archival record of the marriage termination, made by the registry office of the place where the
previous marriage took place, confirming the change of name of the applicant (original or    
notorized copy);
-Consular form;
-ID card copy of the fiancée

4) If the applicant is widow:
-Valid Russian domestic and foreign passport (in original);
-Birth certificate (original or notorized copy, full form-including names of parents);
-Archival record of the marriage termination, made by the registry office of the place where the
previous marriage took place, confirming the change of name of the applicant (original or    
notorized copy)
-  Death certificate of the spouse;
-Consular form;
-ID card copy of the fiancée.
The Nulla Osta is issued the same day and the cost is EURO 27,00.

CATHOLIC REQUIREMENTS
In Italy Catholic wedding ceremony can only be performed in a catholic church and it can be celebreted if at least one of the two is of catholic religion.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
-Formal letter from your Parish priest granting permission for your wedding in Italy (specify the name of the church in Italy and date of the wedding);
-Letter from your local Bishop granting permission for your wedding in Italy. The letter must have the stamp or seal by the Bishop's office of your country.
-Original Prenuptial inquiry form;
-Certificate of Baptism and Confirmation;
-If one of you is not catholic she/he has to obtain a permission of “mixed religious” issued by the local Bishop of your Country.
